Discover the rainforest of the eastern part of Madagascar, as its name indicates, many surprises await you; extraordinary landscapes, a welcoming and smiling population, rare and endemic species.

A step not to be missed, the national park Andasibe – Mantadia is grouped by two protected areas: the special reserve of Analamazaotra and the national park Mantadia. This park is classified as the most visited protected area of Madagascar. Eleven species of lemurs are found there, notably with the great Indri Indri which stands out by its amazing cries.

After spending a few days in the middle of the rainforest, you will have to leave the eastern part of Madagascar for the southern part of the island; once again, you will have the chance to admire different landscapes. Unlike Antsirabe, one of the coldest cities of Madagascar, Miandrivazo is one of the warmest of the island. It also marks the starting point of the descent of Tsiribihina or a simple city of passage in direction of Morondava.

We take the road to Morondava, the capital of the kingdom of “Sakalavan’i Menabe”. There are many landscapes to see, each more breathtaking than the next. The ocean and the red earth intermingle to create an awesome backdrop for your shots. Frequent stops along the way for taking pictures.

Around ten kilometers from Morondava, the reserve of Kirindy shelters a primary dry forest containing endemic flora and fauna. One can make night visits to observe different nocturnal species such as: lemurs, jumping rats, reptiles and the famous fosa.

Although the Kirindy Forest is highly recommended for night visits, it is also possible to visit during the day.

After spending days visiting the Kirindy reserve, you will have to leave the place and take the road to Bekopaka.

Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1990. The Tsingy is like a real limestone cathedral, made up of a very dense network of faults, crevasses; faces of limestone blocks cut into blades or pointed needles. Covering an area of 157,710 ha, the Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park is one of the largest protected areas in Madagascar.

You’ll be transferred to the airport based on your local flight schedule, and then met by the team in Antananarivo.

More than a simple tourist site, this place preserves a great part of the national identity of the population, notably that of the Merina kingdom, for several years.
  • City tour: Built at the beginning of the colonial period, the city center of Antananarivo is full of monuments and vestiges of a glorious and historical past. To see: Soarano station, Independence Avenue, Rova, Flower Market, Malagasy Art Market.
