About the hotel
Hôtel Thermal de Ranomafana, located in the Ranomafana region around 300 km east of Antananarivo, is accessible only by road and is a 15-20 minute drive from the entrance to Ranomafana National Park. The hotel, managed by Le Relais Madagascar, is set in the lush greenery of Ranomafana Park and provides therapeutic thermal waters. The property, reminiscent of a 1950s alpine ski chalet, spans three floors, with lounges, a dining room, and a bar on the second floor. Originally built as a health spa, the hotel has sustained successful operations for years and has been recently refurbished to offer modern accommodations. It features 21 comfortable rooms with en-suite facilities, a gourmet restaurant, and a bar. Surrounded by a stunning tropical garden beside a river, the hotel also includes a well-equipped wellness area complete with a gym, hammam, sauna, and massage room.
