Flitterwochen

Flitterwochen in Madagaskar: private Reisen & Inselträume

Beste Reisezeit

April bis Juni

Grüne Landschaften nach der Regenzeit, weniger Reisende, weiches Licht. Eine schöne Zeit für ruhige Flitterwochen.

Juli bis September

Trocken und mild, Wale vor Sainte Marie. Die beliebtesten Monate: Buchen Sie die Insel-Lodges früh.

Oktober und November

Warmes Meer, blühende Jacarandas und Lemurenbabys. Perfekt für einen Abschluss am Strand.

Madagascar is extraordinary — and Vivy helped us experience the real island Madagascar was perhaps the biggest surprise of our entire journey. Before travelling, many people think primarily of lemurs and beaches. In reality, the island is far richer and more complex than that: extraordinary landscapes, baobabs, dry forests, lemurs, chameleons, unique geology, remote villages and an enormous variety of environments that change completely as you move across the country. But what stayed with us most strongly were the people. Madagascar faces obvious economic challenges, yet we encountered an extraordinary degree of warmth, dignity, humour and generosity everywhere we went. There is a Malagasy concept called Fihavanana — a sense of kinship, solidarity and human connection — and after travelling through the country, we began to understand what that word really means. Our journey was also far from a standard tourist itinerary. We asked Vivy Travel to organise a highly specialised programme involving Antananarivo, Mahajanga, a visit to the remote celestite workings at Sakoany, private aviation, boats, local permissions and finally Anjajavy. The logistics behind Sakoany in particular were complicated. This is not a normal tourist attraction that can simply be booked online. Access, transport, tides, local contacts and arrangements on site all had to come together. We appreciate how much work was required behind the scenes to make it happen. The person who made the Madagascar journey especially memorable for us was Franci, our guide. Franci was with us from the beginning of the Madagascar programme until the moment we boarded our next flight. He was not simply somebody who accompanied us between hotels and excursions — he became our connection to the country. He helped us understand Madagascar, its people, its traditions and the realities of everyday life. He was endlessly patient with our questions, always attentive and always present when something needed to be solved. Whether we were dealing with airports, boats, remote roads, Sakoany or simply discussing life over a meal, Franci made us feel looked after without ever making the experience feel artificial. And, just as happened with our guides elsewhere in Africa, somewhere along the way the relationship changed. By the end of the journey, Franci felt like a friend. We also greatly enjoyed seeing Madagascar’s extraordinary wildlife — lemurs at remarkably close range, chameleons, giant tortoises and many species found nowhere else on Earth. Anjajavy in particular showed us how spectacular Madagascar can be when nature conservation and thoughtful tourism come together. Madagascar remains surprisingly underrated as a destination. It is not always an easy country to travel through, and that is precisely why a capable local team matters so much. But for travellers who are curious, patient and interested in more than conventional luxury tourism, it offers experiences that are almost impossible to reproduce anywhere else. We are grateful to Axel, Franci and the Vivy Travel team for putting together such an unusual journey and for making a very complicated programme work. We arrived interested in Madagascar. We left genuinely attached to it.

18 days round trip through Madagascar We spent 18 days in Madagascar with Vivy Travel. Our guide Tsiory was outstanding and gave us an impressive insight into his country, culture and wildlife. Our trip was really great and exceeded our expectations. Everything was perfectly organized and we felt safe at all times. Our driver Rado drove us across the country, which was not always easy due to the road conditions. If we had wishes, they were also quite spontaneously implemented. We also found it particularly nice that we had so much fun with Rado and Tsiory. We really laughed a lot together. So our conclusion could not be better. If you are toying with the idea of visiting Madagascar, you are in very good hands here!

Excellent experience, the time it takes for the tour is fully exploited A very good experience on this tour. The initial goal was to visit the Lemur Park. On this tour we not only visited the park, but also went to the upper part of the city. About the park, excellent time elapsed, and the tour of the city very good. The guide, was punctual in picking up and very friendly as well as concerned to release details of the daily life of the city. 100% recommended.

Multi-day private tour -- fantastic I can't say enough good things about my experience with Vivy Travel, who organized trip for me to a village outside of Antsirabe in order to see a Famadihana ceremony. The owner/trip planner for Vivy - Axel - was incredibly well-organized and went above and beyond to take care of every last detail. Meanwhile, my guide, Tsiory, was superlative: tactful, proactive, and deeply knowledgeable about Malagasy culture. I've traveled all over the world and have seen all manner of tour companies -- Vivy Travel is among the best.

Responsive and thorough trip planner I found Vivy Travel (I worked with Axel) to be very responsive and very thorough in the information they provided, including recommendations that fit outside the scope of the trip we booked with them. My friend and I did a 7 day trip to Masoala, which is far off the beaten path. We were very happy with how the trip unfolded (despite weather related adjustments) and how on top of everything Axel was. There were also a number of trips that I asked Axel to propose which we didn't end up taking. But he was able to give a number of ideas for things well off the tourist paths and that I would never have found just searching on the Internet. I'd happily recommend their services.

Nennen Sie uns Ihre Reisedaten und was Sie gemeinsam erleben möchten.
