Day-by-day itinerary
Upon arrival at Ivato Airport, you are met and transferred to Au Bois Vert, located near the international terminal for your overnight stay.
A transfer will take you to the domestic terminal for your flight to Sainte Marie Island. You will be greeted and escorted to the Soanambo Hotel on the coast.
A short boat crossing leads to Île aux Nattes, a small, vehicle-free island. The day is at your leisure to explore its beaches and villages before returning to Sainte Marie in the afternoon.
A full day at sea is dedicated to observing the humpback whales that congregate in the channel. An expert guide leads the search for these marine mammals in their natural breeding grounds.
This day is free for independent discovery. Your hotel can arrange optional activities, including bicycle or 4x4 hire to explore the island further.
You are transferred to the airport for your return flight to the capital. On arrival, you are driven to Au Bois Vert for your overnight stay.
Depending on your flight schedule, a brief city tour offers a chance to visit local artisan markets before your transfer to Ivato Airport for your departure.
