Arrival in Nosy Be

Visit to Nosy Be city and Mont Passot

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up at your residence to begin your tour of Nosy Be. We’ll start by exploring “Hell Ville”, the capital of Nosy Be, a bustling city where you’ll discover the daily life of the local population. You’ll also enjoy cultural introductions to the customs of the Sakalava ethnic groups, accompanied by traditional dances.
Afterwards, you’ll enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant of your choice before heading to Mont Passot, a landmark destination in the Nosy Be archipelago. This ancient extinct volcano offers 360-degree views over the entire Mozambique Channel from its large panoramic terrace. You’ll be offered a cocktail, accompanied by a superb sunset over the Mount.

Nosy Komba and Nosy Tanikely

On this day, we take a private excursion to Nosy Komba and Nosy Tanikely. Nosy Komba is often referred to as the “lemur island”, thanks to its primeval forest, home to numerous species of lemurs, wild plants and a few discreet reptiles. During your visit to Nosy Komba, you may even end up with a lemur jumping on your shoulder. Just a few meters from Nosy Komba lies Nosy Tanikely, a small, calm and unspoilt island, a must for divers and snorkellers. It’s an exceptional underwater nature reserve where numerous marine species swim in clear water.

Nosy Iranja: The turtle island

Once again, after breakfast in your villa, you’re off to Nosy Iranja, an island world-renowned for boasting Madagascar’s most beautiful white-sand beach. The island’s vast expanse of immaculate sand is awe-inspiring for all visitors. Nosy Iranja is made up of two islets: Nosy Iranja Be and Nosy Iranja Kely, linked by a 2 km strip of white sand.
Enjoy the beauty of the landscape and the turquoise waters that surround the island. It’s a place that will delight lovers of tranquillity and a change of scenery.

Nosy Sakatia the orchid island with Whale Sharks

Accompanied by your guide, you’ll spend a day discovering Nosy Be’s most authentic island. Your guide will tell you all about the island’s secret rites and customs. You’ll also stroll through the fishing villages and the fields of vanilla, coffee and orchids for which the island is famous. Finally, you’ll end your day with a snorkeling activity accompanied by whale sharks.

Free day on the island

At the end of your stay, your guide is entirely at your disposal to accompany you to discover the local stores, enjoy your day testing the wonders of the island, such as a rickshaw ride (a kind of local rickshaw), Nosy Be’s traditional culinary specialties, and meet the local population.
