Vivy Travel Terms and conditions

Please read carefully before booking with Vivy travel

Vivy Travel Madagascar accepts bookings subject to the following conditions

1) Booking condition:
To ensure the reservation, Vivy Travel requires written confirmation and payment of a deposit or partial payment of the total amount of the trip.The prices indicated on our quotations are submitted to the conditions of the service providers (hotel, airline, etc.) and are subject to modification before your reservation is confirmed and a contract comes into effect.Vivy Travel and its agents reserve the right to increase or decrease the prices displayed in the travel program.

2) Terms of payment:
– If the reservation is made in more than 90 days before the departure of the trip, we ask for a  deposit of 30% of the total cost of the trip as indicated on the detailed quote.70% to be paid  within 30 days before departure.
– If the reservation is made less than 60 days before the trip departure, we require a deposit of  50% of the total cost of the trip as indicated on the detailed quote. 50% to be paid within 30  days before departure.
– If the reservation is made less than 30 days before the trip departure, we require a payment of the total amount indicated on the detailed quote 25 days before departure.
– In case of non-payment of the balance on the due date, Vivy Travel may consider the reservation as cancelled by the client.

3) Our payment methods :
For while, Vivy Travel Madagascar can only process with these payment types:
– Bank transfer to our account: the bank information will be provided at the time of booking. You will be responsible for the payment of all fees related to the transaction charged by your bank.
– Checks from local banks: BNI, BMOI, BFV SG, MCB or any other institutional bank
registered in Madagascar at the time of billing.
– Cash in Ariary (local currency) or in foreign currency (Euros or Dollars). Transaction fees on change of quotation may be applied.
– Quote card: VISA or MasterCard are on request.

4) Acceptance of payments:
– More than 30 days before departure, checks are accepted on request
– Less than 30 days before departure, only credit card payments, cash payments or certified checks will be accepted.

5) Reservation changes:
– An administration fee, as well as any additional costs incurred will be charged if changes are requested on a confirmed reservation within 30 days prior to departure. Thereafter, all  changes will be treated as cancellations and subject to the fees below. Changes are subject to availability.

6) If you cancel your reservation:
In the event of cancellation of the reservations agreed in this contract, Vivy Travel shall be entitled to charge, as a lump sum termination fee, the following amounts:
– after the confirmation of the order: 30% of the total cost of the trip
– 60 to 30 days before the departure date: 50% of the total cost of the trip
– 30 to 7 days before the departure date: 75% of the total cost of the trip
– Less than 7 days before departure date: 100% of the total cost of the trip
For local flights, tickets issued are subject to airline cancellation policy.

7) Formalities:
– It is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure that he/she is in good standing with the police, customs and health formalities and to obtain a visa before making the trip. In all cases, the achievement of these formalities remains at the customer’s expense. The price of the trip and the expenses cannot be refunded in any case following the non presentation of the documents required by the authorities (passport, visa, authorization to leave the country for minors, vaccination certificate…)
