Northern Expedition

The north of Madagascar is part of the most authentic regions, this region is home to many tourist sites made for those who seek the out of the ordinary: Amber Mountain, Ankarana National Park, sandy beach, islands with the scent of Ylang Ylang.

Discover the Montagne d’Ambre National Park, Madagascar’s first protected reserve. Rising to an altitude of 1475 meters, this park offers remarkable biodiversity amid lush vegetation. Admire its waterfalls, lakes and numerous animal species, including 49 reptile species, 75 bird species and the Brookesia Micra, the world’s smallest chameleon.
Hiking in Ankarana National Park: This park is made up of dense dry forest and tsingy, forming a unique landscape in Madagascar. After the Tsingy de Bemaraha, this is the second place where you can admire the Tsingy. The park offers a number of circuits requiring good physical condition, ideal for the more adventurous.
Relaxation on Nosy Be island: Known as the pearl of Madagascan tourism, Nosy Be is an enchanting island with the scent of ylang-ylang, sugar cane and spices. This archipelago comprises several small islands where you can enjoy a wide range of excursions and activities, or simply relax on its heavenly beaches.

Arrival in Antananarivo

As soon as you arrive in Antananarivo, your transfer agent or personal guide will give you a warm welcome and help you with the formalities. We strongly recommend that you exchange currency before entering Madagascar, to facilitate your transactions during your stay. Once all the formalities have been settled, your guide or transfer agent will help you take charge of your luggage and drive you to your hotel, located close to Ivato international airport, offering a charming and friendly setting. Depending on your arrival time, you can also enjoy a short drive to get a glimpse of the city of Antananarivo.
Once you’ve checked in and made yourself comfortable at the hotel, your guide will join you for a detailed briefing and general introduction to your stay in Madagascar.

Antananarivo-Diego Suarez

Very early in the morning, depending on your local flight schedule, you will be transferred to the national airport for a local flight to Diego Suarez, in the northern part of the island. Upon your arrival you will be immediately welcomed by the team in Diego suarez to begin your visit. Located in the extreme north, Diégo-Suarez or Antsiranana stands out by the beauty of its bays and its lagoons.

Discovery of the three bays: composed of the Bay of the Dunes, the Bay of the Pigeons and Sakalava Bay, they are all three a famous destination by their magnificent white sand beach differentiated by the turquoise blue of the sea.
To the east of Diego Suarez, on the road to Ramena we will make a small stop in the French mountain to enjoy a panoramic view of 360 ° from the platform. Pain de Sucre, Cap d’Ambre and Mer d’Émeraude are within sight.

Visit of Montage d'Ambre national Park

After your breakfast we’ll go on a guided tour of the Montagne d’Ambre National Park. Equipped with a raincoat and a good walking shoe, prepare yourself to dive into the heart of a lush nature composed of an exceptional fauna and flora. A wide variety of birds, lemurs and amphibians await you.

Hiking in Ankarana National Park

Another day immersed in nature. Real jewel, the Ankarana National Park is different from other national parks, thanks to its large network of underground rivers. It is also one of the only places where one can contemplate the Tsingy, except for the Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park.

Nosy Be and the famous Mont Passot

Nosy Be, what better way to end your trip than in the paradise island? Very early in the morning after your breakfast you will be transferred by fast boat to Nosy Be.We’ll start with a guided tour of Nosy Be, to discover its treasures and local atmosphere. Afterwards, we’ll end the day in style with a welcome cocktail while admiring the sunset from Mont Passot.

Excursion to Nosy Komba and Nosy Tanikely

We then continue our second stay in Nosy Be to make excursions in the two small islands “Nosy Komba” and “Nosy Tanikely”. To enjoy the wonderful marine park offered by Nosy Tanikely as well as its magnificent coral reefs and its various aquatic fauna. Nosy Komba on the other hand is a place of predilection for an easy hike to the meeting of the lemurs of the island, the boas, the species of birds and certain reptiles.

Nosy Iranja

Ready for heaven? Nosy iranja is composed of two islets connected by a white sand of 1.2 km with the perfume of extraordinary adventure. A white sand of an unique purity that we borrow on foot, followed by a preserved natural space. Snorkeling and diving enthusiasts, it’s time to find your happiness.

Back to Antananarivo

We leave you a few hours to enjoy a free day, you can go shopping, make a small visit of the Nosy Be city. Meet the local population try the local rickshaw or Badjaj , before being transferred to the airport, for a return to Antananarivo.

Antananarivo-Out

After your breakfast, our guides will pick you up at your hotel for a city tour of Antananarivo, called the city of miles, a thousand treasures await you: discover the old “Gare Soarano”, the “avenue of independence”, the “view of Antananarivo” in Andohalo, the flower markets in Anosy and finally the “handcraft market” to bring some souvenirs.

Depending on your international flight schedule, your guide or transfer agent will drop you off directly at Ivato international airport, assisting you with all the formalities before wishing you a safe return home.
