Eleven caves, some sacred and containing royal burials, add historical significance. The park also features Africa’s largest underground river system and is home to 10 species of lemurs, 92 bird species, bats, and crocodiles in some rivers.
Montagne d’Ambre National Park :
This endemic rainforest ecosystem in the Diana region shelters numerous species, including lemurs, chameleons, birds, and amphibians. Hikers can immerse themselves in lush biodiversity, from rare orchids and tree ferns to palms, epiphytes, and precious woods. The Red Tsingy :
Located two hours southeast of Diego Suarez, the Tsingy Rouges feature striking marl and sandstone formations, contrasting with the Grey Tsingy of Ankarana.
