Day by day itinerary
Your guide meets you for the private transfer to your hotel in the city center. Following a briefing on the journey ahead, the remainder of the day is at leisure.
The journey south begins, tracing the RN7 through the highlands' terraced landscapes and brick villages. Stop in Ambatolampy to observe artisans casting aluminum in their workshops.
Drive through the Betsileo heartland, with stops in Ambositra, the center of Malagasy woodcraft. After settling in at Ranomafana, an evening walk reveals the forest's nocturnal life, from mouse lemurs to tree frogs.
An early morning trek into the dense rainforest offers the prime time to find lemurs active in the canopy. The expedition is tailored to your interests, focusing on the park's diverse orchids, birds, or herpetofauna.
The route continues to Ambalavao, a town known for its zebu market and Antemoro paper workshops. An afternoon visit to Anja Community Reserve offers close encounters with habituated ring-tailed lemurs among granite boulders.
